Peter started playing guitar back in the early 80s and began taking lessons and learning theory from the beginning. In the mid 80s began forming bands and jamming with other musicians and further developed his technique. His band “Odyssey” was formed in the very late 80s and was a force into the early 90s. With virtuosic musicians at every instrument, Odyssey was ahead of its time.
The mid 90s came and the band separated due to personal reasons. College became more intense for Peter and the other members also had other obligations as well. So it was a friendly though sad parting of ways.
Peter shortly thereafter moved to Texas, got married, and pretty much put the guitar on the back burner. Without Odyssey, the fire was gone.
Fast forward to 2011, and Peter is still married to the same wonderful woman but the fire is back!!! A recent trip to Southern California yielded a visit to a Carvin store, where he bought a V220. This event has brought back the fire, taken Peter in essence back to the late 80s and started things anew.
Peter currently has a modest project studio in his home where he writes and records new material. Be sure to stay tuned here for the latest on his quest for tone and fulfillment.
Peter’s material is generally instrumental, with hard rock/metal flavors and a dash of jazz (sort of). 😉
